Gateway to the Big Muddy
Bengough is located at the Gateway to the Big Muddy Valley, an area filled with an abundance of natural treasures. This valley South of Bengough has magnificent scenery which takes you back to the times long before the present ranchers settled there. Nature enthusiasts will easily appreciate the evidence of prehistoric forces which shaped the valley centuries ago.
Our community is agriculture and ranch-based, rich with hard working dedicated people who are always eager to volunteer a helping hand. One of the evidences of the stability of the Bengough area is the many recipients of the “Century Farm Family” awards.
Clean air, strong sense of community and crime free environment makes Bengough an excellent place to move to, raise a family, start a business or retire. We offer K-12 schooling, Churches, Health Care and a variety of businesses/services.
Our broad spectrum of recreation includes, just to name a few, a regional park, swimming pools, a fitness/youth centre, golf course, skating rink and three sheet curling rink with viewing mirrors ( a rarity in Saskatchewan).
We are situated a 90 minute commute from the nearest International Airport in Regina, the capital city of Saskatchewan A relaxing 20 minute commute South through the Big Muddy Valley will take you to the state of Montana.
